Knowledgia Scientific believes that scientific progress requires the exchange and discussion of data and ideas. Knowledgia Scientific is a unique forum dedicated to presenting the results of scientific research from any scientific discipline in an open-access environment. At the same time, it provides a forum in which to discuss that scientific research and so provide for each and every paper its maximum possible impact.

Criteria for publication
To be accepted for publication in Knowledgia Scientific journals, research articles must satisfy the following criteria:

• The study presents the results of primary scientific research.
• Results reported have not been published elsewhere.
• Experiments, statistics, and other analyses are performed to a high technical standard and are described in sufficient detail.
• Conclusions are presented in an appropriate fashion and are supported by the data.
• The article is presented in an intelligible fashion and is written in standard English.
• The research meets all applicable standards for the ethics of experimentation and research integrity.
• The article adheres to appropriate reporting guidelines and community standards for data availability.

Submission
Manuscripts should be submitted by one of the authors of the manuscript through the online Manuscript Submission and Tracking System at Science Alert (http://scialert.com). Regardless of the source of the word-processing tool, only electronic Word (.doc, .docx, .rtf) files can be submitted through the Manuscript Submission and Tracking System.  There is no page limit. Only online submissions are accepted to facilitate rapid publication and minimize administrative costs. Submissions by anyone other than one of the authors will not be accepted. The submitting author takes responsibility for the paper during submission and peer review. If for some technical reason submission through the Manuscript Submission and Tracking System is not possible, the author can contact support@scialert.com for support.

Terms of Submission
Papers must be submitted on the understanding that they have not been published elsewhere (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis) and are not currently under consideration by another journal published by Knowledgia Scientific or any other publisher. The submitting author is responsible for ensuring that the article's publication has been approved by all the other coauthors. It is also the authors' responsibility to ensure that the articles emanating from a particular institution are submitted with the approval of the necessary institution. Only an acknowledgment from the editorial office officially establishes the date of receipt. Further correspondence and proofs will be sent to the author(s) before publication unless otherwise indicated. It is a condition of submission of a paper that the authors permit editing of the paper for readability. Peer Review
All manuscripts are subject to peer review and are expected to meet standards of academic excellence. Submissions will be considered by an editor and-if not rejected right away-by peer-reviewers, whose identities will remain anonymous to the authors.

Article Processing Charges
Knowledgia Scientific publishes articles FREE of cost. Articles submitted during the year 2011-12 will receive automatic waivers on submission and so do not have to pay article processing charges.

Pre-submission Inquiries
Knowledgia Scientific does not consider pre-submission inquiries. Such inquiries essentially request that the editors of a journal assess whether the paper is of potential interest to that journal by virtue of its subject area, novelty, or anticipated impact. In general, such subjective opinion would have little bearing on whether a paper should be published or not. To judge whether a study has been sufficiently well performed and well documented to permit its publication requires submission of the full paper.

Cover Letter
It is important that you include a cover letter with your manuscript. Please explain why this manuscript is suitable for publication in your selected journal. How does your paper provide a worthwhile addition to the scientific literature? How does your paper relate to previously published work? Which types of scientists do you believe will be most interested in your study?
